Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of PulseMeter (the "Service") and is part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the Service secure and reliable for everyone. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.

Credentials and access

  • Connect only credentials you own or are expressly authorized to use, and only the narrowest read-only billing/usage keys the provider offers. Do not connect keys that grant more access than the Service needs.
  • Do not use the Service to access, monitor, or collect data about accounts, organizations, or individuals without authorization.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share your account with unauthorized users.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful purpose, or in violation of any third party's rights or any LLM provider's terms.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security, authentication, rate-limiting, or access controls.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or its related systems, data, or other users' workspaces.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a commercial offering without our written permission.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the Service other than through features we provide, or place unreasonable load on the Service or its providers.
  • Upload or transmit malware, or use the Service to store or transmit material that is illegal, defamatory, or infringing.
  • Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation, or use the Service to send unsolicited or deceptive communications.

Not a sole safeguard

You agree not to rely on the Service as your only or primary control against LLM cost. PulseMeter is a supplementary monitoring aid; you remain responsible for maintaining your own provider-side spending limits and controls, as described in the Terms of Service.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service, our users, or third parties. We may remove or disable content or connections that violate this AUP. Serious violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting

To report abuse or a security concern, email support@pulsemeter.ai. Responsible disclosure is always welcome.
